Our Story
Early business started off in the 90’s
Most business networks that started off in the 90’s consisted of a dialup modem, a router and possibly a 10mps switch. Over time, as business improved and technology changed, dialup was replaced by adsl modems. Cat 5 cabling became a standard, followed by cat 5e and cat 6.
Most companies did not replace the existing cabling as the standards changed, they just added more cable. Most likely by a different installer. As time passed, the cabling backbone became a mess. No labeling standard, different manufacturers etc…
All this adds up to a troubleshooting nightmare. A simple service call turns into 3 hours of tracing and testing.
This is where iT Core Canada comes in. Members of the iT Core team will come and, as unobtrusively as possible, make an assessment of your cable and wireless network backbone. When the assessment is completed, iT Core will present you with a detailed report. The report will also present you with options to bring your network infrastructure to a certified modern standard. If required, a wireless survey of your current wireless solution can also be done. If a complete wireless solution is required, iT Core has the experience to design and implement the latest technologies.
